We are committed to privacy and the protection of personal data, in accordance with applicable regulations and our commitments to ethics and compliance.

Data controller

The Groupe Roullier is responsible for the processing of personal data collected in the context of the management of applications sent to the Group, its establishments and its subsidiaries.

Purposes of the processing

By submitting an unsolicited application or responding to a job offer, you agree that your personal data may be collected and processed in order to:

  • to study your application;
  • assess the suitability of your profile, skills and qualifications for the positions that may be offered to you;
  • to organize and manage the recruitment process;
  • to contact you in the context of professional opportunities corresponding to your profile;
  • to build and manage a pool of candidates.

Applications posted on our main site may link to the external Cornerstone platform, which is used for recruitment management and acts as a processor of the Data Controller.

Legal bases for processing

The processing implemented in the context of recruitment is based on:

  • on the execution of pre-contractual measures taken at your request;
  • on the legitimate interest of the Groupe Roullier in managing its recruitment processes and building a pool of applications;
  • and, where necessary, on your consent.

Categories of data processed

The data that may be processed in the context of recruitment include:

  • identity data;
  • contact information;
  • data relating to professional life and educational background (CVs, diplomas, professional experience, skills, qualifications, salary expectations, etc.);
  • data on skills and experience that can be used to match an application with available positions;
  • data from exchanges that took place in the context of recruitment;
  • the results of interviews, business tests or evaluations carried out as part of the recruitment;
  • connection and browsing data on the Group’s recruitment sites.

The mandatory or optional nature of the data requested is indicated on the application forms. Failure to provide the information identified as mandatory may result in your application not being reviewable.

Data sources

The data is mainly collected directly from you when:

  • the submission of your application;
  • your exchanges with the recruitment teams;
  • interviews conducted as part of the recruitment process.

The Grouppe Roullier may also complete your profile with information from:

  • professional social networks;
  • or publicly available sources,

when this information is relevant to the position concerned and necessary for the evaluation of your application.

Recruitment process and analysis tools

The recruitment process may include:

  • interviews;
  • Business testing
  • psychotechnical assessments;
  • personality tests adapted to the position concerned;
  • tools to help analyse or reconcile the declared skills with the skills expected for certain positions.

As part of the recruitment process, the Groupe Roullier may test or use features to help analyse applications, such as a tool for matching the skills declared by candidates with the skills expected for certain positions (“Skills Match”).

The purpose of this feature is to assist recruitment teams in identifying opportunities that are likely to match the candidate’s profile. It is not a substitute for human analysis of the application and does not, on its own, produce an automated decision to accept or reject an application.

Your data can thus be used to help you analyze or reconcile it with job offers. These tools do not lead to a fully automated decision that produces legal effects towards you or significantly affects you, as any recruitment decision is subject to human intervention.

Data Retention

The data is kept for the time necessary to study your application.

At the end of the recruitment process, and unless you object, your data may be kept in our application pool for a maximum period of two (2) years from the last contact with you in order to offer you other professional opportunities corresponding to your profile.

The connection data collected when you browse our sites is kept for a maximum period of thirteen (13) months.

Recipients of the data

The Groupe Roullier, its establishments and subsidiaries may receive your personal data for the purposes of processing your application.

Only the authorised persons involved in the recruitment process (recruitment, human resources, management and management departments concerned) have access to your data within the limits of their responsibilities.

Your application may also be shared with other recruiters in the Group in order to offer you opportunities that match your profile.

Your data may also be communicated to subcontractors involved in the recruitment process, in particular:

  • external recruitment firms;
  • IT service providers;
  • publishers of HR and applicant management solutions.

These service providers only access your data to the extent necessary for the performance of the services entrusted to them and in accordance with the instructions of the Data Controller.

Data transfers outside the European Union

The data is hosted within the European Union.

In the event of a transfer of data to a country outside the European Economic Area, this will be governed in accordance with the applicable regulations and will be subject to appropriate safeguards designed to ensure the protection and security of your personal data.

Data Security

The Groupe Roullier implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to guarantee the security, integrity and confidentiality of the personal data processed in the context of recruitment.

Sensitive data

We recommend that you do not transmit, as part of your application, so-called “sensitive” data, in particular data revealing:

  • racial or ethnic origin;
  • political opinions;
  • religious or philosophical beliefs;
  • trade union membership;
  • health data;
  • data relating to sex life or sexual orientation;
  • data relating to criminal offences or convictions,

unless there is a special necessity or legal obligation.

Your rights

In accordance with the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data, you have:

  • a right of access to your data;
  • a right of rectification;
  • a right to erasure;
  • a right to portability;
  • a right to restriction of processing;
  • a right to object for legitimate reasons;
