In this context, we are looking for a:

Finance Controller - India M/F
Permanent contract based in Chennai - India


Your role:

 
Reporting to the Director - Asia Pacific and assisted by a team of two people in Chennai, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring the administration and financial management of the subsidiary.
You will collaborate in coordination with Phosphea finance department, complying with local standards and Roullier Group principles. You’ll receive support from teams of finance specialists in France.

Your main tasks:

Manage and monitor the financial management of the subsidiary:
Perform monthly closings and report them on group tools (From management control to accounting and consolidation)
Manage and monitor the accounting tasks following the local regulations (accounts payable, accounts receivable…)
Prepare, monitor and present tax reports, tax returns, direct and indirect taxation, social declarations
Lead, optimize and forecast the treasury management, follow the bank relations
Monitor Credit Management
Elaborate and present the estimated budget

Secure and implement the administrative and financial management processes:
Manage and coordinate management control and internal auditing (financial risk assessment, etc.)
Advise the General and subsidiary Management: Identify any financial risk or dysfunction
Monitor and coordinate legal services and advice, in coordination with headquarters legal department to fulfill the statutory requirements. Manage corporate secretarial works.
Coordinate external audit and ensure compliance with deadlines
Justify and control Balance Sheet and P&L accounts
Oversee the growth and training of finance teams at the local level

Profile

  • Master’s degree in Corporate Finance. CA, CS, CMA, CPA, CWA would be a plus.
  • You have a previous experience of minimum 3 years in a Finance Management position
  • Strong knowledge of the financial management local processes in an international environment
  • Autonomous and excellent communication skills
  • Rigorous, discrete and resourceful to handle problems
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
