Your responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead a dynamic, long-term business development strategy for the UK market.
  • Inspire, manage and support a team of Business Developers and Agronomic Technical Consultants across multiple regions.
  • Identify, initiate and develop new commercial opportunities and routes to market.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with agricultural distributors/retailers, co operatives and key stakeholders in the sector.
  • Work collaboratively with product development, marketing and international teams to promote innovation and alignment.
  • Oversee regional and national profit and loss responsibilities, ensuring sustained and profitable growth.
  • Represent TIMAC AGRO UK at high level industry events, conferences and strategic forums.

Profile

Your profile:

  • Must hold an up-to-date FACTS qualification.
  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree is preferred).
  • Must have demonstrable experience as a Business Development Director or senior commercial sales leader within the agriculture sector, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and building strategic partnerships within the UK market.
  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in strategic business development and partnership management is essential.
  • Strong background in agriculture, with in depth understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing farmers in the UK today.
  • A visionary, entrepreneurial mindset with a proven ability to translate ideas into action and strategy into results.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams and align diverse stakeholders around ambitious commercial objectives.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Work environment:

  • Reports directly to General Management and Executive Team.
  • Frequent travel required (up to 70%), including occasional domestic and international travel.
  • Flexible working arrangement within the UK.
