Within the Roullier Group, TIMAB Magnesium has specialized in the business of magnesium products for agricultural and industrial applications. With two owned production sites in Spain and in Brazil, and a network of strategic partners, TIMAB Magnesium produces and distributes magnesium oxide, magnesium hydroxide and other magnesium chemicals for a wide variety of applications in industrial, environmental and agricultural markets. We are pursuing our growth by reinforcing our technical expertise on our current product range, and by breaking new ground to address industrial stakeholders’ issues.


To support its international development, we are hiring a Sales Manager for our industrial markets, to further develop our business activity in South Asia.


Area Sales Manager – Chemicals

(Location: India, Gujarat or Mumbai as preferred location)


Main responsibilities:

        Develop and expand the business in your region.

        To understand and monitor the market (technical development, competition, potential clients, raw material cost, regulations)

        Maintaining and developing the client portfolio by working closely with your network.

        Negotiating commercial contracts to achieve a successful supply to your customers with optimal results. 

        Overseeing the full order and delivery process to create the best service to your customers.

        Professional reporting to management.


Before becoming operational, a training course of several weeks will be provided. This will ensure you quickly become familiar with the company structure and the technical aspects of both the products and its applications.



Preferably, you graduated with a bachelor’s degree, majoring in business and/or engineering: chemistry, natural sciences, mechanical engineering or similar.

You have a first significant experience in sales of technical products/solutions in the industrial, chemical or commodities sector. Experience within the fields of Food and Pharma, Water treatment, Construction or Ceramic will be highly appreciated.


If you have a business/sales degree, you must possess technical knowledge with a technical sales experience.


An advanced level of English language is required and the willingness to travel should be abundant (30% at the beginning, up to 50% once the area is consolidated). Hindi is a plus.
