Timac Agro South Africa is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Representative (TSR) to promote and sell our innovative agricultural solutions. In this role, you will engage with current and potential clients within your designated region, helping farmers achieve more effective and efficient farming practices.

Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with farmers, expanding your network of clients and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Proactively work towards achieving and exceeding sales targets set by management.
  • Market Growth and Distribution: Develop and implement effective strategies to increase market share and enhance product distribution in your area.
  • Product Promotion: Introduce and promote new products, ensuring successful uptake among farmers.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed about local agricultural trends and conditions, identifying opportunities to support our clients effectively.
  • Building Trust: Establish trust with clients by providing expert knowledge, persuasive presentations, and tailored solutions to their challenges.
  • Reporting: Regularly prepare and submit sales reports and administrative documentation to management.

Profil

Essential/Minimum

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Science (B.Sc) or equivalent qualification.
  • A well-established network of potential clients in the agricultural sector.
  • Proven sales experience working directly with end users in the agriculture industry.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong understanding of plant and animal nutrition.
  • Familiarity with agricultural practices and industry challenges.

  • Achievement of set sales targets.
  • Client retention and satisfaction rates.
  • Timely reporting of activities and client visits.
