Director of Business Development W/M - Fertilizer & Agronomic Innovation

As a Development Director, you will be the driving force behind our business expansion. You will lead on the basis of clear objectives:

Your missions:
- Create and lead a dynamic business development strategy.
- Inspire and coordinate a team of business developers and agronomic technical consultants in several regions.
- Identify, initiate and develop new market opportunities.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with agricultural retailers, co-operatives and key industry players.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and global teams to drive innovation.
- Manage regional and national P&L responsibilities, ensuring sustainable and profitable growth.
- Represent the company at high-level industry events, conferences, and strategy meetings.

Wat ga je doen?
- Je ontwikkelt en leidt een dynamische groeistrategie voor de Nederlandse markt.
- Je inspireer en coördineer een team van business developers en agronomisch technische consultants in verschillende regio's.
- Je identificeert, benut en ontwikkelt nieuwe marktkansen.
- Je bouwt sterke strategische partnerschappen op met agrarische retailers, coöperaties en andere belangrijke spelers in de sector.
- Je werkt samen met internationale teams op het gebied van productontwikkeling en marketing om innovatie aan te jagen.
- Je beheert regionale en nationale P&L-verantwoordelijkheden en zorgt voor duurzame, winstgevende groei.
- Je vertegenwoordigt TIMAC AGRO op strategisch niveau: van evenementen, conferenties tot high-level vergaderingen.
- Je rapporteert aan de Algemene Directie / Stafleden.
- Frequent reizen (tot 70%), inclusief incidentele binnenlandse en internationale reizen.
Profil
Your contributions:
- A strong background in agriculture, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing today's farmers.
- A visionary and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to turn ideas into actions and strategy into results.
- Master's level, expertise developed over at least 7 years in business development and the establishment of strategic partnerships.
- The ability to lead and unite teams and stakeholders around ambitious and complex projects.
In addition to Dutch, given the international scope of our operations at TIMAC AGRO, strong proficiency in English is required.
Work environment
- Reports to the General Management / Staff members.
- Frequent travel (up to 70%), including occasional domestic and international travel.
