Regional Sales Manager
Key responsibilities: (not limited to):
- You will be the driving force behind developing and expanding sales territories within the Eastern region of the UK in a hands on and field-based approach.
- Open new sales territories.
- Once a territory reaches a sufficient level of growth/sales, you will recruit and onboard a dedicated Technical Sales Specialist to take over ongoing development and maintain momentum and then repeat.
- Manage and lead a team of sales professionals, developing high-performance.
- Provide on-field support to your team.
- Engage proactively with distributors, providing commercial and technical support while leveraging contacts and motivating them to actively grow sales and maximise market penetration.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and targets.
- Set and monitor team KPIs.
- Segmentation of the region, providing a platform to build upon for sustained future success.
- Provide sales forecasts and reports, actively utlising data from the company CRM.
- Provide agronomic support to your team.
- Develop/train sales team in technical and commercial aspects.
About you (essential):
- Minimum degree qualified (agriculture-related or other closely related field).
- FACTS & BASIS Qualified.
- People management experience within farming/agriculture (two years minimum).
- Commercial experience – successful background in sales within the farming/agricultural industry.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving revenue growth.
- Ability to analyse market data and develop effective sales strategies.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- A full UK Driving License. Requirement to be field-based and show presence within the region in a hands-on approach.
