Area Sales Manager – Plant Nutrition M/F

Western Europe

 

Permanent Contract – Remote (from Rotterdam)

 

Reporting to the Plant Nutrition Sales Director for Europe – Agriculture BU, you will have to further develop Timab Magnesium’s business activities in the field of agricultural applications (plant nutrition) for the Western Europe markets. You will be a real business developer.

 

Your main missions will be :

  • To define the sales strategy according to the Sales Director for this region
  • To prospect new clients
  • To manage the distribution channels
  • To take responsibility for your area and optimize your results (margins, volume and market share) with direct sales
  • To guarantee the quality of our products and respect delivery deadlines to our customers
  • To monitor the market (competition, potential clients, raw material cost, regulations)
  • To insure the reporting to the Sales Director

Perfil

Profile required:

 

You have at least 5 years of successful experience in sales, ideally in a B-to-B and/or B-to-D environment. You are an expert in sales of Agricultural products (fertilizers) and you are familiar with trading commodities.

 

You have a perfect command of English. Knowledge of cultural and business practices in Benelux and/or the UK or Nordics countries will be highly appreciated.

 

You are an excellent negotiator, and you are result oriented. You have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and love to take up big challenges. Your reactiveness, rigor and excellent listening capabilities will give you what it takes to meet your customers' needs.


You can work independently and possess a high level of self-motivation and initiative.

 

Travel in Western Europe is to be expected (30-40%).

 

An onboarding training period as well as technical and commercial support will ensure that you are quickly operational on the raw materials and specialty markets.
