 Due to
a VERY EXCITING expansion of our business in the East (Timac UK ARABLE) we are looking for multiple Technical Sales Specialists who will be responsible for consulting arable farmers through
a ‘whole farm approach’ selling high-efficiency sustainable inputs to supplement their current production.  This new specialised business unit will be spearheaded by industry expert David Harrod, a commercial leader within the UK fertiliser market for over 30 years.  David Harrod brings a wealth of knowledge, strategy, networks, and desire to put people in a position to succeed.  This truly is a unique opportunity for new entrants and experienced agriculturalists alike to join a pioneering company which will reward you incredibly well financially as we continue to grab more of the UK fertiliser market share at a time where the benefits of our products couldn’t be more evident.


Responsibilities

  • Growing and developing on-farm sales of our Unique & Premium Product Range in fertilisers, soil conditioners, and animal nutrition/welfare solutions
  • Consulting farmers on inputs and input efficiency
  • Conducting comprehensive soil, crop, and livestock analysis to formulate customised recommendations which provide solutions to farmers’ challenges and support their business objectives
  • Representing Timac UK within the local farming community, attending shows, arranging knowledge sharing events for local farmers, and other ‘out of the box’ business development
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with our distribution partners
  • Actively planning activity and managing customer pipeline using our CRM system (Salesforce)

Location

The
position is field-based and requires daily travel within the sales territory

Candidate Profile

As a successful candidate you will have:

  •  Agricultural degree or agricultural background (related business and/or sales experience will be considered)
  • Desire for personal growth and love for self-learning
  • Strong communication skills and commercial awareness
  • Ability to build good relationships with farmers and growers
  • Great organisational, planning and problem-solving capabilities
  • Full clean UK driving license
  • BASIS or FACTS certification (or be willing to work towards this)


Package

  • Base salary + No-Threshold Uncapped Commission  (1st Year OTE £41k) 
  • FACTS Training course and qualification
  • 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
  • Company car + fuel card

* Full training and continual development will be provided to all new starters
